New Delhi. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget today. It was said in this budget that the foundation for the next 25 years will be laid from this budget. It is claimed that something has been kept for everyone in this budget. Meanwhile, Nirmala Sitharaman has announced that 400 new Vande Bharat trains will be prepared in the next 3 years.
In fact, in her budget speech, Finance Minister Sitharaman has said that 400 new Vande Bharat trains will be prepared in the next three years. With this, 100 PM Gati Shakti cargo terminals will be built in the next three years. Along with this, 8 new ropeways will be constructed. Vande Bharat trains are the country’s first indigenously manufactured semi high speed trains.
Along with this, the Finance Minister said that the length of the National Highway will be increased to 25,000 km between 2022-23. Parvatmala road in hilly areas will be brought on PPP mode.
Vande Bharat train is equipped with many modern facilities. The train has On Board Wi-Fi, GPS based Passenger Information System, Beautiful Interior Decoration, Vacuum Toilet, LED Light, Charging Point Under Each Seat, Reading Light Under Each Seat, Intelligent Air Conditioning System, Wheel Chair for Divyang. There are facilities like access to boarding the train, separate toilet for them, CCTV, fire fighting system, automatic sliding door.
