Lucknow-DVNA. BJP MLA Devendra Pratap Singh of Amampur assembly constituency of Kasganj district died of a heart attack on Monday morning. It is being told that at that time the MLA was present at home in his village Hajipur and was preparing to leave the area in the morning, when suddenly there was a severe pain in the chest and sat down on the chair. The family members could not understand anything. The legislature was immediately taken to Etah where the doctors declared him dead. As soon as the information about the demise of the MLA passed, a wave of mourning ran out among the supporters.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over his demise.
