Prayagraj. Allahabad High Court has issued a bailable warrant against Gorakhpur Basic Education Officer Ramendra Kumar Singh in a contempt case.
Justice JJ Munir has given this order on the contempt petition of Prajwala Nayak. According to the facts of the case, the court, while hearing the contempt petition on 23 November 2021, issued a notice to the BSA for 20 January. According to the report of CJM Gorakhpur dated 18 December 2021, this notice was served through his office. Despite this, he neither appeared nor appeared on his behalf during the hearing on Thursday.
Taking this seriously, the court issued a bailable arrest warrant against Gorakhpur’s Basic Education Officer Ramendra Kumar Singh. In which he has been asked to execute a bond amounting to Rs 20 thousand and file an affidavit to appear before the court through video conferencing on January 27. The warrant has been directed to be served through CJM Gorakhpur.
