Rudrapur. A sex racket has been caught in the hotel of a person running a school in Nanakmatta, Sitarganj. Three girls and three men have been arrested on the spot. Legal action has been taken against seven people including the police hotel operator. Anti Human Trafficking Cell and Nanakmatta Police jointly raided Shivam Vatika in Nanakmatta at night. Here, a 20-year-old girl resident of Bilaspur, a resident of Bilaspur, a resident of Jharkhand, a 24-year-old girl from Badarpur border, Faridabad, a resident of Nepal, and a 25-year-old married woman, a resident of Nepal, Dharmendra Bam, resident of Naugawa Thuggu, Shiv Colony Ward 18 Khatima, Bhagwan Singh Dhariyal village Kandi Jhulaghat Pithoragarh, Harish Prasad resident Jamirpani Jhulaghat Pithoragarh, Akhilesh Mishra resident Nanakmatta were caught.
Many objectionable items have also been recovered here. The hotel records have been confiscated by the police. It is being told that all the people were staying in this hotel since December 27. The hotel operator is the manager of a school in Nanakmatta.
It is alleged that the hotel also belongs to him. He was operating a sex racket from here. The team included CO Bhupendra Singh Bhandari, SO KC Arya, SI Manju Pawar, Prakash Arya, Surendra Singh, Vidya Rani.
SO KC Arya said that three women and four men have been arrested by registering a case under the Immoral Prostitution Prevention Act. The investigation is being done by Inspector Basanti Arya of Anti Human Cell.
